I hate it, I hate it, I hate it! I went to get french curl braids and and it hasn't even been a full 24 hours and they're ALREADY UNRAVELING! Th3 braids are curling where they shouldn't be and they're also loose. I asked for knotless and I didn't get that. I asked for them to be VERY long and I got barely longer than shoulder length.
Literally the worst experience ever. It appears as though these people are only prioritizing persons who are going to get their hair done as opposed to persons who wishes to get the style that was done by them (Ami hair braiding) taken down! When I booked my butterfly locs installation it went smoothly because that cost $180. The moment I scheduled an appointment to undo the locs which costs $40 I was pushed around. I was given a 9:30 appointment for the removal of the style. Yet I had to wait at the shop for over 45 minutes for someone to come open it, only to be told that there’s no one there to do my hair because only two appointments were made and those were persons that wanted there hair done. Ms. Ami, if you have a business you must make sure you put systems in place to Properly and efficiently provide services to your clients. You need to be more organized because wasting people’s time isn’t cool. Traveled from Brooklyn to Mt Vernon for this messy and horrible experience. Very unprofessional for leaving the country and not putting systems in place for your clients!
I had a terrible experience at this hair salon, not once but TWICE!! First off, they had me waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time without any communication or apology, then informing me they don’t have the braiding hair color (BLACK) for my hairstyle. The person answering the phone and scheduling appointments seemed unorganized and unprofessional, showing little regard for punctuality. On top of that, the cleanliness was a serious issue. I saw several roaches near the waiting area, which made me extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, professional environment. Disappointing and definitely not worth the time or money.
I called first to get a quote for my young adult son for full head box braids. We were a walk-in, and luckily, there was only a little girl getting her hair braided. So they were able to take my son right away. After she looked at his hair, she kept the price the same. $60. They said it would take about 1.5 hours, and it took 1hr 45 minutes. My son got medium-sized braids and was happy with the results. After finishing, she put mousse on his hair, covered it in a doo rag, and used a hand blow dryer. She then used olive oil spray to moisturize his hair. I gave her a $10 tip and we left. We will definitely go back again. They were quick, professional, and pleasant. I'll leave a picture of my son but didn't have the red eye reduction on, sorry.
Came from Charlotte got in the chair ASAP meme I believe is her name hooked me up! I will be back when I touch down in two weeks. This was a quick little due. But watching them do box braids they are quick and very neat. Can’t wait to get my knottless.
